Since created in 18^th century, television has become as one of sophisticated electronic and has amended from period by period. Television words coming from Greek language Tele and Visio that have meaning far and sight. Television can explain as a telecommunication medium for transmitting and receiving moving images that can be monochrome or colored with or without accompanying sound. But, the presence of television has made a lot  of comment variety from every side, this is caused by content of television oftentimes contain uneducated unsure.

On one side of the discussion is television give a bad affectation to children development. On the other side of the discussion regard as television bulking large in a human modern life. General cause from all this problem is TV station in Indonesia that to much compete for get highest rating, it force they create programs television which is break the law of broadcasting rule, cause they thing it will make spectator or consumer interested. In this essay will show the evidence that make television have positive effect more than negative effect .

Television is just a thing, like a knife, good or bad result that thing produced it’s depend to user that applying that thing. So also with television, do not become as television slave, but we have to choose television content which match with our need and of course have a benefit. Whereas, the useful of TV we can get if we selective to choose the program. The benefits are TV will become as ability to create powerful touchstones. TV enable young people to share cultural experience with the others, shared viewing gives family members of all ages an opportunity to spend time together. And, for a people who have a child can use TV as a catalyst to get kids reading, and also great television can teach important education and great value, and news current events and historical programming can help make young people more aware of other cultures and people, and much more we can get from television if we smart to choose a good content.

In conclusion, TV has positive benefits that are to educate, to entertain, to make you near from your family. And positive thing we can get depend from what we choose because all decisions is all on humans self. Therefore, the government has to supervise film world and must limit producers to make broadcasts television that didn’t has benefit.
